Lockdown
Ok, lockdown is one of the most underused spells in SC. In my opinion, this is the ghost's
best ability. Sure they can nuke, but this is 20 times better. Towards the end of the game
against a terran or Protoss opponent, get lots of ghosts and be sure to research lockdown.
A ghost with full energy can cast lockdown twice. 12 BC's coming your way?? No problem.
Just lockdown all of them. 1 or 2 may survive but that wont be a problem. Once they are
locked down, kill them quickly before it wears off. If you have 12 BC's and your opponent
has 12 BC's, you will always win with lockdown. Most people don't even make ghosts, so you
should have a big advantage. Lockdown will also work on any Protoss unit except the
zealot. It is great on reavers and carriers. It also works very well on shuttles and
transports. Its like a stasis field, but you can attack what's inside. How cool is that??
The ghost's only coast a measly 25 crystals and 75 gas. This is a great deal, no to
mention the ghost's can cloak also. Lockdown will totally throw off your opponent. He wont
be expecting it at all. After you wipe out his VERY expensive fleet of 12 BC's with 6-12
VERY cheap ghosts, go in for the kill. Works every time. Trust me people, LOCKDOWN WINS
GAMES!!!
P.S: DO NOT EVEN RESEARCH LOCKDOWN AGAINST ZERG, IT WILL NOT AFFECT ANY OF THEIR UNITS
